This caster has a 1/2" diameter stem. To replace casters with 3/8" stem (pre-Oct 2018 models), the holes will need to be enlarged.
The locking brakes are available on the 3" or 4" heavy duty casters. It is recommended to add two locking casters to both front legs of the AeroCreeper if the locking feature is required.

A small upgrade that solves a painfully specific problem.
When an AeroCreeper is used in its lowest or fully flat position, the user’s upper arm can sit close to the rear caster wheels. In just the wrong position, skin or a loose shirt sleeve can be pulled into the narrow space between the wheel and caster fork, causing an unexpected pinch or bruise.
The Caster D-Fender is AeroCreeper’s flexible solution. Made from durable black TPU, each guard clips directly onto the rear caster fork and partially shrouds the top of the wheel, helping keep skin and clothing away from the pinch point without interfering with normal caster movement.
Designed in-house specifically for AeroCreeper, the D-Fender installs quickly with no tools or permanent modifications.

What a great piece of equipment for any shop!
At the US Forest Service hangar in Ogden, we were given one of the initial builds to try out years ago when they first started making them. We loved it so much we bought 2. I just bought 2 more Deluxe ones and I'm thinking about the electric unit as well. The aircraft detailers we use to wash also have a few. Seat and creeper in one
I have loved the 250th anniversary creeper. I used it day 1 as both creeper and seat. It moves easily around the hangar and the height is easily adjustable. It feels safe and secure. I also enjoy the large cup holder (which I use for nuts and bolts) and tool tray.

Unboxing the simple Classic first I was just giggling as I rolled around frictionless like on mag lev—can’t give my kids access or they’ll be streetboarding on it behind bikes!
