These guards are placed between the frame and the caster to keep skin or other things from rolling into the caster.
Installation requires a 3/4" wrench to remove the nut.
Excited to get these as I am tired of pinch bruises and cuts from wheel on my upper arms in the most vulnerable places as I move my arms to push creeper around while on my back when low. Installed one side and thought the plastic was flexible,as it moved quite nicely. Apparently they flex only to a point and then abruptly crack! When I flipped creeper over to install other side, one guard completely cracked. Now I’ve got an ample supply of duct tape on one wheel. Nice design but hope anyone reading this is aware they are not as flexible as they act and will suddenly crack rather than bend.At least my arms are now free of bruises. Bought two sets as wanted to cover all four wheels. Not sure why sold in pairs although I suppose can get along with two on torso area end only if don’t mind occasional pants caught in wheels when maneuvering. As an “old man” I do appreciate the creeper as a whole although expensive, Would purchase again, especially if professional.
Hands down best creeper we have ever used. Great product. Worth every cent.
Great company, great product, easy to work with.
This is a game changer for working on planes of all heights. I can go from laying flat to sitting in just seconds.
The switch’s are hard to reach in the down position and the back is to narrow for a bigger person
Definitely love the versatility of it. Wish I knew about this years ago. Will definitely pay for itself by saving my back and neck
I added some low profile 3 inch casters that actually lowered the creeper one and a half inches. I found this great for working on my car! I also modified the back by raising it to the next notch since I’m really tall. Works great! love it! The casters are from McMaster Carr and the part number is in the photo.
Very well made and really does the job. Makes it easy to work under the wing of an aircraft.
After a week with my power lift and one oil change and suspension work, I’m impressed. With my bad back and messed up knees, this work wasn’t happening without injuring myself. At 6‘4” and 280lbs, I could use a wider seat. I made a couple of mods. I moved the backrest up a notch as was suggested and added a board and foam to fill the space below. I’ll make it pretty later. I’m gonna try out some smaller casters to lower things about an inch to an inch and a half for clearance under cars. Also, I’m not a fan of the batteries and that don’t solidly click into place like other brands. Small problems considering I’m back in the garage working. The power lift made the impossible possible. So worth it!
I use mine in conjunction with a 4 post lift . Absolutely the best thing I've ever done for my bad back and leg nerve pain !
I have been looking for years for a decent creeper. I am a girl a very bad back and neck and long hair. This is the perfect solution! I can sit partially up at the perfect angle to work under the truck. The wheels roll great, even on our race deck flooring. And the biggest bonus, in full flat position, my hair cannot get wrapped around the wheels. Thanks for a great product!
